What if I continue to doubt?
Continuing to have doubts does not mean that your decision to walk with Jesus was dishonest or meaningless.
Faith does not always mean complete certainty. It can mean continuing to seek, learn and trust while some questions remain.
Even Jesus’s closest followers experienced doubt. After the resurrection, Jesus said to them:
“Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself!”
Luke 24:38–39
Jesus did not reject them for being uncertain. He acknowledged their doubts and gave them reasons to trust.
You can be equally honest with him. Bring your questions into prayer, explore them carefully and allow yourself time to grow in understanding.
It is all right to walk with Jesus while you still have doubts. Faith and uncertainty can exist together as your journey unfolds.
