I have accepted, but I still have questions

Accepting the invitation to walk with Jesus does not mean that every question has been answered or every doubt has disappeared.

Many people begin with a mixture of faith, hope, uncertainty and curiosity. Faith can grow gradually as you learn more, pray, reflect and experience what it means to follow Jesus.

The Bible includes people who trusted God while still speaking honestly about their uncertainty. One man said directly to Jesus:

“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

Mark 9:24

Jesus did not reject him for admitting that his faith was incomplete. He responded with compassion and helped him.

You do not need to hide your questions from Jesus. You can bring them with you as part of your journey. Honest questions can help faith become deeper, more thoughtful and more firmly understood.
